The capital of Charente-Maritime, La Rochelle is located off the coast of the Pertuis d'Antioche. Discover these lands rich in contrasts and full of charm. All three, accessible by boat, as well as Madame Island to the south, will take you on a journey to the heart of pristine, wild nature.

While strolling on the Île de Ré you will discover its white houses with green shutters, visit the majestic Whale Lighthouse, you will stroll through the narrow streets and ramparts of its capital: Saint Martin de Ré, to finally sip a cold drink in the heart of its old port.
On the Île d'Oléron and Île d'Aix, enjoy a peaceful escape where the crowds are less present. Located a 20-minute boat ride from Pointe de la Fumée in Fouras, Île d'Aix is classified as a "Remarkable Natural Site." To the west, thanks to your boat rental, you can head out to sea to visit the famous Fort Boyard. A little further south, you can also discover the charming town of Fouras.
